So my Dungeon Master ran an art competition between the members of the campaign where we could either draw one of the cities or the 'red wood forest'. We were given a description of the locations, key features for the red wood were 'peeling bark', 'glowing, glass-like trunks'. Initially, I did not include the peeling bark and I originally imagined the atmosphere to be what was red but after receiving criticism from the DM I make the later adjustments. I then created an iteration where the atmosphere had a more earthy, green colouration which I ended up preferring. The scene portrayed was from my tiefling's backstory where she met a dryad in the forest. Since the piece was meant to focus on the scenery itself, I did not put too much detail into the characters.
